First to consider is your home office. No home based business is complete without some kind of makeshift home office; many businesses start in garages or on kitchen tables. But think about all of this carefully, as you might need privacy – especially if you are going to be talking to clients – which a kitchen table cannot provide. If you get distracted easily then you need to get away from potential disruptions. You are the lifeblood of your home based business – make sure you are happy where you are working.
Next to consider is your working materials: your desk and chair. Get the wrong chair and you might end up crippled after sitting for a long time in an awkward position. Get a desk or table of the wrong height and the same could happen. Remember that with your home based business if you get ill then you will not get paid.
